Overall had great stay as a business traveler or with my family. All the employees were great and very nice. Breakfast was satisfactory, room was neat. I had a garden view and a mini fridge bar, a microwave oven, and a personal safe. This hotel suited the needs in every way, would recomand;)))

Booked a room with frosted glass for around us$ 1277. the location was awesome, surrounded by many embassies and located in a lush, green area. 🌳

The staff is accommodating, as well as owner. The rooms are airy and exquisite, have hypo-allergenic pillows. The rate is US$ 1277, satisfied. Excellent service, the breakfast was amazing and they have free parking if needed: D

Everything was exceptional at Houghton Place. the stay was really comfortable for business travelers or families. the staff were accommodating and excellent day and night. the daily breakfast was marvelous with plenty of options and a great view.

I recently stayed at Houghton Place for a week-long trip. The house is beautifully decorated and the bed was really comfy. They even had Netflix set up for a cozy night in. The hosts were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to show me around the area, recommending the best restaurants, craft markets, and even the nearby shopping mall. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the Gautrain station to the airport and the Rosebank shopping mall.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The room is fabulous and luxurious with a nice bathroom; the location is marvelous, near a metro station, Gautrain station, and just a 5-minute drive away.

Sam's exceptional catering for my vegan diet was mind-blowing, paired with Patricia's scrumptious breakfasts. The extensive movie selection in the room was a delightful surprise. The friendly dogs, Coco and Milo, added a touch of home. The tranquil atmosphere, along with the convenient location within walking distance of the Gautrain station and Rosebank mall, made it the ideal choice. The comfortable room and the warm hospitality of the owners, Sam and Jan, were outstanding. This hidden gem stands out for its personal attention, inviting pool, and delicious breakfast. The stable internet and reasonable price further elevate the experience. Houghton Place is perfect for both business and personal stays, offering a unique and creative environment for meetings. I can't wait to return!

The room at Houghton Place was absolutely amazing! The luxurious queen size bed with the softest cotton bed linen made me feel like I was sleeping on cloud nine. I loved the attention to detail in the room, with premium bedding and a laptop-friendly workspace that made my stay comfortable and convenient. The minibar and flat-screen TV with satellite channels provided great entertainment options during my downtime. Having a fully stocked bar fridge in the room was a great bonus for me. It made my stay even more enjoyable. The private bathroom with a bath and a hairdryer felt like a mini spa getaway. It was so relaxing! I appreciated the added security of having a safe and ironing facilities in the room. It made me feel safe and well-prepared for my business meetings.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the latest movies provided for entertainment in the room. But, hey, I know some people might enjoy them!
